Buckingham Interiors has dated these Kashmiri Painted Table Lamps to the 1930s.
Both lamps are decorated throughout with intricate cobalt‑blue and gold floral motifs on a warm cream ground, executed in the fine, detailed brushwork characteristic of Kashmiri artisans.

The circular bases repeat the same floral patterning, creating a cohesive decorative scheme. Each lamp is topped with a brass bulb holder, complementing the warm tones of the painted decoration. Standing at 30 cm high, they are well‑proportioned for side tables, consoles, or bedside use, offering both decorative appeal and practical function.

These lamps exemplify early to mid‑20th‑century Kashmiri export craftsmanship: colourful, detailed, and unmistakably handmade, with the spiral form giving them a more unusual and desirable presence than standard straight‑column examples
