Description

An ornate brass fire screen in the Rococo Revival style, centred by a fine mesh panel within a richly cast scrolling foliate frame. The upper section is decorated with a pair of opposing winged dragons beneath a pierced crest, while the lower section features bold acanthus scrollwork and a central cartouche.

Raised on two substantial cast feet, the screen has an attractive aged brass finish and makes a striking decorative addition to a fireplace.
