Description

A Victorian 19thc oak pedestal desk dating to c1870. This is a well made good looking oak pedestal desk with a gilt tooled original dark tan leather desk top. There are eight side drawers and one central drawer, all with original brass handles and locks. The design of the handles is typical of the Victorian aesthetic design movement popular around the 1870’s. The pedestals stand on original castors. The drawers are lined with mahogany. In beautiful antique repolished condition.
