Victorian Secretaire Attributed to Gillows

Description

A refined Victorian secretaire attributed to Gillows, crafted from rosewood, burr walnut, and mahogany, and complete with three working keys. The fall‑front opens to a fitted interior of small drawers, pigeonholes, and a green baize writing surface. Flanking it are a deep drawer to the left and two pull‑out trays concealed behind the right‑hand panel.

Below, Gothic‑inspired arched doors reveal three full‑length pull‑out trays, offering excellent storage for office essentials. The rich mix of timbers gives the piece a warm, luxurious patina, and it remains in excellent antique condition with only light age‑related marks — a superb example of Gillows‑style Victorian craftsmanship.
