Description

This highly desirable Snake Bangle dates to the Victorian period. It is set in 15ct Yellow Gold with a pearl set into the head. The piece also features a safety chain and a wonderful engraved padlock drop.

Serpent jewellery became popular during the early years of Queen Victoria’s reign, coinciding with the full flowering of the Romantic Movement. Serpents represent love, loyalty and friendship.

This piece comes in its original velvet and silk-lined box and would make a great addition to any collection or the perfect gift.

The Pearl remains free from damage and secure; however, unfortunately, the snake has lost one eye; the other one is still secure and present.
