Pair of Antique Georgian Style Burr Walnut Bedside Chest of Drawers

1920 - 1940
Description

A smart and extremely well made pair of antique Georgian style burr walnut bedside chest of drawers. They were made in England, they date from around the 1930’s.

The quality is fantastic and they are a very useful size. They are fairly tall and slim, meaning they take up very little room and offer plenty of storage space. The walnut has stunning grain patterns with a gorgeous colour tone and patina, the drawers have brass handles and the chests stand on beautifully shaped bracket feet. The top and drawer fronts have beautiful inlaid double herringbone borders.

We have had them stripped and re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age.

Depth – 14.5 inches , 37 cm

Height – 28 inches , 71 cm
