A rather gorgeous looking oak desk C1900 with all 3 drawers and sides well carved with acorns and oak leaves tipping its hat to its timber English oak.Liking this one awful lot. The scale is great, height sensible, the carving exquisite, tone and grain of the oak first glass and supported by dense oak bobbin legs. It''s going to look perfect in the right spot and with the back being well finished, it could sit inside a room not just against a wall.Condition is very good with no faults, just gentle historic wear. Drawers with original handles are running smoothly - we have a few old ink stains to the inside of the long centre drawer.
