Antique 9ct Gold Chalcedony Orb Drop Earrings

Elegant Edwardian gold earrings with dreamy chalcedony orb droppers. The beautiful luminous chalcedony gems each have their own unique natural colouring, one a soft dove grey, the other a slightly heather-tinged blue.

• Condition: Very good antique condition.

• Fixing: Nine-carat gold wires (likely replacing earlier screwbacks), supplied with tiny silicone keepers to pop on the ends for security.

• Hallmarks/stamps: The gold caps on the balls are stamped 9CT.

• Era: Estimated Edwardian (c.1901-1914).

• Size: 4cm drop from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring. The orbs are approximately 1.3cm diameter.

• Weight: 5.8g.
