A Rare Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Desk Brush/eraser Combo

A very rare item of Art Nouveau Sterling silver. This wonderful piece is an unusual and sought after desk accessory. The silver body is repousse work and depicts gorgeous femail heads with wings and lily of the valley. On one side the cartouche is vacant and on the other the initials M G are engraved. There is an eraser (replaceable) to the top asnd the brush at the base. The bristles are horsehair and this fine collectible item has a practical use.

These were used for erasing mistakes and brushing the rubber remnants from the paper. The Maker's are a renowned Company, working in Rhode Isalnd, USA and had a reputation for high quality items. Dimensions below.
