In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It is a good quality piece and the underneath of the lid is also gilded to match the main body.

It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1934 and the maker Barker Brothers Silver Ltd. It weighs 117g including the enamel.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some very slight nibbles of damage to the edge of the enamel (see photo) but it still displays beautifully. The silver itself is in good order with no major marks, dents or damages and the interior gilding is bright and clean. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
