Rare English antique solid sterling silver sugar tongs / nips. They are hallmarked for Chester 1902 with the maker being Nathan & Hayes (George Nathan & Ridley Hayes). They have been superbly designed being cast in the form of a harlequin or jester. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 4.5 inches (11.2cm) long by over 1.5 inches (4cm) wide at the handles and weigh 32 grams. Superbly made very high quality rare examples.
