Circa 1900 eight arm brass chandelier with cut glass crystal decoration. The chandelier has a central brass column decorated with four cast lion masks connected by chains and adorned with cut glass crystal drops. The fitting has eight arms, four supported by the lion mask framework and four emerging from the body at a different height, creating a well-balanced design. The chandelier is finished with a high-quality cast finial decorated with leaves and grapes. Originally candle powered, this piece has been sympathetically converted to electricity and is fitted with E14 (small Edison screw) bulb holders.
