A Beautifully Embossed Silver Plated Bread Basket by Barker Ellis. The decorative scheme combines dense scrolling foliage with fine cross-hatched panels, creating a distinctly traditional English look. The rim is finished with raised Rococo-style scrollwork and flower motifs that give the basket a sculptural, high-relief edge. The underside mark reads ‘Barker Ellis’ and ‘Made In England’ – circa 1930.
