Description

A rare English Georgian solid sterling silver Madeira decanter / bottle label. It is hallmarked with the Georgian head mark, the lion passant mark and the makers mark of Susannah Barker. It has been superbly designed being engraved MADEIRA along with a stags head crest used by the Scott, Kerr Carling and other families. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.6cm) across by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall excluding the chain and weighs complete with its chain 10 grams. A nicely made rare example.
