Description

This is a rare one! An antique sterling silver pin cushion fashioned as a possum.

He is clearly hallmarked for Chester 1909 and carries the maker's mark for Arthur Johnson Smith, along with a Patent Registration Number. He sports the original cushion, now quite worn, as well as red glass eyes. The body is beautifully textured, apart from the area above the tail and his head, where the detailing has been over-zealously cleaned. He is gorgeous!
