This Italian Neo-Classical jardiniere originates from 1880 and takes a circular form fashioned from copper with brass elements. The exterior exhibits a warm copper finish complemented by repousse detailing and gadrooning around the body. Two lion-mask ring handles adorn the sides, while the vessel rests upon three cast paw feet. Inside, the metal shows turquoise verdigris oxidation and vertical fluting that echoes the exterior decoration. A beaded rim encircles the top edge, and a matching band runs near the base above the feet. Measuring 20 cm high and 56 cm wide, the bowl provides a substantial receptacle for interior plants or decorative displays.
