Victorian Charles Wadman Rosewood Piano Stool With Crewel Work Seat

A late Victorian aesthetic movement adjustable height piano stool made by Charles Wadman c1880, with a turned rosewood base and the round seat re-covered in Coromandel Crewel embroidered crewel work fabric. The seat winds up and down and varies in height from approximately 50cm to 60cm.
Condition: There is some minor surface wear to the base - please see the photos. The seat is newly recovered so is in good condition. There is some veneer missing to the top of the base which is only visible when the seat is raised. The seat winds up and down easily.

Diameter of seat - approx 36cm
Height - adjustable between approx 50cm and 60cm.
