The designer and maker of this stylish lantern is unknown, The design does bear similarities to firegrates made by Robert Adams & Co. of Shandwick Place in Edinburgh, one of which was supplied to The Queen Mary''s Apartments in the Palace of Holyroodhouse*, perhaps there is a connection.
