Description

A rare good sized English solid sterling silver and enamelled sailing club matchbox holder / vesta case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1936 with the makers mark being difficult to decipher. It has been well designed having an enamelled flag of The London Corinthian Sailing Club. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures almost 2.5 inches l6.2cm) long by over 1.5 inches (4cm) wide by over 0.75 inches (2cm) deep and weighs 48 grams. A very good quality unusual example.
