Superb Nathaniel Mills English Victorian Sterling Silver Vinaigrette Box 1843

Description

A beautiful rare English Victorian antique solid sterling silver vinaigrette box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1843 with the maker being Nathaniel Mills. It has been beautifully made being decorated with a tartan criss-cross design, the cartouche has been engraved with initials possibly TCS or JCS. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3.2cm) across by over 0.75 inch (2.4cm) wide and weighs 12 grams. A very high quality piece.
