A very well designed English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver handled corkscrew. It is hallmarked for London 1901 with the maker''s mark being rubbed. It has a superbly designed and has been engraved with a Baron''s coronet and the initials RW. It''s the kind of piece used to open corked medicine bottles rather than wine. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5.25 inches (13.4cm) long by over 0.5 inch (1.5cm) wide and weighs 18 grams. A very nicely made piece.
