Penderyn Antiques has dated this Victorian Walnut Compactum Wardrobe to the Victorian era.
The front is arranged with a central mirrored door, flanked by a pair of panelled cupboard doors with shaped moulded surrounds. The central door opens to reveal a fitted interior of sliding tray shelves above three drawers with decorative brass cup handles. The side cupboards are fitted for hanging, with brass rails and porcelain-tipped hooks. The wardrobe is raised on a plinth base. The wardrobe dismantles into five sections for easier transportation and installation. A particularly handsome piece of exceptional quality.

CONDITION REPORT:
Overall in very good antique condition. There are minor scratches and signs of age throughout, as expected with a piece of this age and type. There is a very minor loss to veneer at the back right corner edges and lower area (pictured), along with a very minor loss to beading at the top right edge. The cupboard doors shut flush overall; however, the latch to the central cupboard is no longer working, meaning the central door does not sit entirely flush. There is a split to the base of the bottom drawer, but it is structurally solid and sound. Overall, it presents extremely well.
