Rare Scottish Sterling Silver Teddy Bear Bookmark 1931 Antique Glasgow

Description

A superb Scottish antique solid sterling silver bookmark. It is hallmarked for Glasgow 1931 with the maker being W H Collins & Co. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a rather tough looking teddy bear (probably because he is from Glasgow where even the teddy bears are tough). It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6.2cm) long and weighs 3 grams. A nice clean example.
