Each shade is formed from multiple shaped alabaster panels set within the oak gallery — a more refined construction than the usual single‑bowl pendants. Removed from Castle Dunlossit on the Isle of Islay, they carry desirable Scottish estate provenance. Substantial, architectural and clearly commissioned for an important interior, pairs of this scale and quality are increasingly scarce.
