Description

This elegant Art Deco silver and guilloche enamel handled letter opener was made by the prolific W I Broadway & Co and is dated Birmingham 1929. The stainless steel blade mounted with a silver handle. Both front and back of the handle inset with a beautiful sunburst sky blue guilloche enamel. A very elegant and timeless piece.

Hallmarks:

B&Co for W I Broadway & Co.

Birmigham Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letters "D" for 1929.

Condition:

Very good.

Dimensions:

Length: 20cm / 8 inches.

Maximum width: 2 cm / 0.6 inches.
