Description

A Pair of Antique Silver Plate Sauce Boats in a traditional, raised form. Each vessel has a gently elongated body with a pronounced pouring lip to one end. The rims are finished with a twisted rope style border that frames the silhouette neatly. Both pieces stand on three ornamental feet with leaf and claw-like detailing that lifts them elegantly from the table – circa 1920.

* These are well suited to serving gravy, sauce, custard, or warmed cream at table.

Measurements:

Height to handle: 4" (approx. 10cm)

Width handle to spout: 7 1/2" (approx. 19cm)

Depth: 4" (approx. 10cm)

In good condition – Both sauce boats present well overall with only light surface wear consistent with age and normal use.
