Novelty Sterling Silver Menu Holder Novelty Lucky Wishbone 1905 Antique

Description

A beautiful rare novelty English antique solid sterling silver menu holder. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 with the maker being Grey & Co. It has been beautifully designed being in the form of a lucky wish bone - the menu or place card setting slides between the wish bone and the angled support held by the sprung clip. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.4cm) wide across by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) tall and weighs 16 grams. A beautifully designed piece.
