Superb Scottish Arts & Crafts Silver Plated Serving Set C1910 Antique

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb cased set of Scottish antique silver plated Arts & Crafts serving set. They are marked EP along with the makers mark WB&S. I would date them to c1910 retailed in Dundee. They have been beautifully designed, (possibly Charles Rennie Macintosh or influenced) and are in superb condition being free from dings splits wear and repairs. The case is also superb. They longest piece measures over 10.75 inches (27.6cm) long by 2 inches (5.1cm) wide and the shortest over 8.5 inches (20.8cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.8cm) wide the whole set weighs 242 grams excluding the case. A very high quality set.
