The wooden interiors present as a warm, rich tone, giving a handsome contrast against the bright silver plated rims. The undersides are finished with green felt pads, intended to protect polished furniture and allow smooth placement. The outer mounts are stamped “MAPPIN & WEBB” – circa 1920.
