Norwegian 830s Solid Silver Nidaros Cathedral Caddy Spoon C1940 Norway

Description

A beautiful Norwegian solid silver caddy spoon. It is hallmarked with the 830 silver standard mark and a makers mark being that of Kristian M. Hestenes who founded his family business in Bergen in 1904. I would date this piece to c1940. It has been beautifully designed with the bowl being engraved with Nidaros Cathedral. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It is measures approx. 5 inches (12.8cms) long by 1.5 inches (4cms) wide and weighs 24 grams. A very interesting piece.
