An outstanding antique mahogany military campaign secretaire chest of drawers, dating from around the 1870-1890 period.

The quality is absolutely amazing, this is a very smart and very useful item. The top drawer slides out and pulls down to reveal a leather top writing surface with pigeon holes and internal drawers. This has lots of storage space, all the drawers have fine hand cut dovetailed joints. There are beautiful brass fixtures throughout, and this comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport.

We have just had this cleaned and re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There is normal age related wear and various minor marks remaining here and there beneath the polish.
