A rare German Hanau antique solid sterling silver bonbon spoon. It is hallmarked with English import marks for London 1897, the importers mark of B Muller & Son (Berthold Muller) along with the German Hanau marks. It has been nicely designed having its terminal in the form of a clasical figure (Hercules?) and the bowl pierced and depicting a chariot (Boudica?). It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 6 inches (15.5cm) long by 3.25 inches (8.3cm) wide and weighs 46 grams. A very interesting example.
