A very good quality George III Scottish Provincial Sterling Silver Cowrie Shell Snuff box by ROBERT KEAY PERTH c1800.

With a flush-hinged cover, engraved with a monogram. 8.5cm long.

Condition is very good for its 220+ years, the makers mark (stamped twice) and town mark are visible, date mark not stamped.

There is some surface wear commensurate of age and use. It opens and shuts well.

A very tactile item by a great maker.
