A beautiful antique Heriz rug, woven circa 1900. The design features three geometrical medallions on a terracotta field and dark indigo border. Lovely secondary colours of pink, light blue and gold make this a highly decorative and sought after rug. And it’s one of a (near) pair!
Size: 1.88m x 1.10m (6ft 2in x 3ft 7in)
This rug has medium, age related wear, slightly heavier in the border area (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
