Superb Norwegian Sterling Silver Enamel Viking Boat Salt Cellar Pot C1940

Description

A quality Norwegian solid sterling silver and red enamel salt cellar. It is hallmarked with a makers mark and 925 STERLING. I would date it to c1940. It has been superbly made being in the form of a viking boat enamelled in red and gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, no chips or cracks. It measures 3.5 inches (8.7cm) wide by 1.5 inches tall and weighs 29 grams. A very pretty piece.
