Early 20th century Czech jewellery, particularly from the Bohemia region, is characterised by elaborate metalwork, often featuring intricate brass filigree settings paired with vibrant art glass stones.

These pieces typically utilised stamped or cast brass alloys with a gilt or aged finish, combined with moulded glass cabochons, imitation pearls, and solder-constructed filigree frameworks.

Authenticity is often indicated by the weight and patina of the brass, traditional box or push-in clasps, hand-set glass stones, and occasionally Czechoslovakia country-of-origin stamping.

This piece can be styled as a statement accessory worn alone or displayed on a decorative velvet tray as a vanity ornament.

Preserve the metal patina and stone settings by avoiding chemical cleaners, ultrasonic baths, and prolonged exposure to moisture, cleaning gently with a soft dry cloth.
