An impressive pair of Japanese Meiji Period satsuma porcelain antique table lamps with cobalt blue background and rope twist design handles. The body of the lamps have samurai warrior scenes to the front and back with detailed gilt moriage decoration in relief and are embellished with motif design borders. The lamps stand on turned pierced wooden bases finished with shaped brass caps and single switched bulb holders.
