This is a very good example of a seh-mihrab (three mihrab) prayer rug by the Taimani Baluch, the rug is well drawn and has an excellent natural colour palette. The Taimani Baluch were semi nomadic in the Sistan Provence of Western Afghanistan, this design of prayer rug is unique to them.
 
The rug is in good condition with even wear, and medium pile.
 
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
