Description

A good example of a set of 6 antique butter knives with sterling silver handles. They are good quality pieces with decorative details on the handles.

Each piece is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1919 and the maker Henry Greaves.

They are in good condition for their age although they are showing some signs of wear and use. The handles have a few minor dents and dinks on and there is some minor wear around the edges of the blades however they display well as a set. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.

The set comes in its original fitted box with a velvet and silk interior. The box is in good condition with some minor staining and wear to the silk lid and some light scuffs and marks around the edges but nothing detrimental.

Length of Knife : 6 3/4" / 17cm

Box : 8 1/4” / 21cm x 6 1/4" / 16cm
