Perfect for a wood-burning or cooking stove that is out in the room, rather than in a fireplace, as this English antique fire guard is a lot deeper than usual. This is a very good example, all the wire work is complete to the front and sides and the guard has its original, un-polished brass top rail. English and dating to around 1870.
