A quality antique Persian pure wool hand knotted runner from the North West Heriz area of Persia, in superb unworn condition c.1920. Three diamond shaped medallions to the centre with champagne cream background, surrounded by a dark red background with interlinked floral decoration. Champagne background to the corners with decoration to match the centre medallion and broad geometric floral design border to the outer edge.
