An Art Deco Heart Shaped Silver & Sapphire Glass Pendant Necklace

A gorgeous Art Deco silver pendant necklace. This elegant example has an openwork heart shaped frame, with a large facet cut glass 'sapphire' and is surrounded by paste 'diamonds'. The back reveals traces of the original gilding and is marked silver. The pendant has an unusual lever bale. Together with the curb chain (marked sterling), this is a beautiful and wearable necklace. Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, breaks or losses. Slight discolourisation to some stones and fading to the gilding on the reverse, commensurate with age.
