Description

A 1930's ceiling light by Swedish designer Einar Bäckströms. Model 38100.

Literature: Einar Bäckström's catalogue 1939, page 16.

Hobo loves because: vibrant blue lacquer and beautiful amber glass make for the perfect pairing.

Einar Bäckström (1889–1978) was a Swedish metal-work designer and craftsman whose Malmö workshop, Einar Bäckströms Metallvarufabrik was founded in 1918. His workshop became known across Scandinavia for its elegant, functional lighting.

Bäckström’s designs typically combine high-quality materials such as brass (often patinated or lacquered) with a certain simplicity.
