This is a really pretty Malayer carpet with a most attractive colour palette dating from around 1930. It has typical Malayer design with a large central flower filled lozenge and lots of stylised flower motifs. It features a particularly lovely bright blue to the field and a warm coral pink to the central lozenge. This is in excellent condition throughout with a nice deep, soft pile and is a very practical size measuring 194 cms by 137 cms.
