The Chelsea Bijouterie Ltd has dated this piece to the 1960s.
Their soft lustre and gentle pinkish overtones give the necklace a wonderfully flattering glow.

The clasp is especially captivating. Crafted in 9ct yellow gold, it takes the form of a flowerhead centred with a lustrous pearl, encircled by vivid red rubies and finished with an outer halo of delicate pearls. This charming cluster can be worn to the front, side, or back, allowing versatile styling for day or evening.

The strands graduate from 15" (38cm), 15.75" (40cm), to 16.5" (42cm), sitting beautifully at the collarbone. To the reverse, the clasp is fully hallmarked for London 1965, bearing 9ct gold marks, the traditional crown, 375, and maker’s mark LGH.

A wonderfully feminine piece of mid-century jewellery, in excellent condition throughout — the pearls are smooth, evenly matched, and beautifully lustrous. Presented in the box illustrated.
