A very pretty art nouveau style silver mounted oval photograph frame with embossed art decoration of scrolling flowering vines. The easel back mounted in what appears to be the original back velvet and purple silk. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1898, maker Miller Brothers.
It measures 16cm (6 1/4'') high by 12.2cm (4 3/4'') wide, with an aperture of 13cm (5 1/8'') by 9cm (3 1/2'') and it stands 15.2cm (6'') tall.
In excellent condition with no damage, dents or repairs and very minor handling wear.
