Early 18th-Century English Delft Polychrome Chinoiserie Charger Plate Dish
Brief Description:
This is a fabulous early 18th-century English Delft Polychrome Chinoiserie Charger Plate.
Dating to circa 1730-1740, and probably from Liverpool.
The vibrant piece is decorated rim-to-rim in manganese outline with blue, yellow, green and orange colours, with a scene of a Chinese man seated in a garden with foliage and a fence.
Towards the bottom of the rim is an adorable little squirrel running across the faux grass.
