Description

Birmingham 1911 English hallmarked solid silver pepper mill or grinder with tapered sides and unusual foliate engraved design on the central body and above the base edge. There is an initial within the body engraving.

What an elegant way to serve pepper at the dining table.

Often found in glass or wood and silver, or in silver plate, this is a nice example of an all silver model. It is unusual also to have the engraved decoration.

All pieces are appropriately hallmarked.

Size-3 inches high by 1.75 inches diameter.

Weight-95 grams.

With just a couple of flat spots along the cap edge, this is a lovely silver pepper mill in very good condition.
