Description

Very nicely crafted engraved solid silver pickle fork with spiral twist ivory handle, made by George Unite, famous maker, and bearing the maker's mark only.

This beautiful fork has leaf engraved detail to the shaped heel of the fork, three sharp tines, tapered shapely stem, and a beautifully carved ivory handle.

Size-8 inches long.

Weight-20 grams.

Both the silver and ivory are in very good condition, without damage, and having a lovely patina.

This is a very functional and attractive piece, excellent for pickles, onions and relishes, and made by a very good maker.

In very good condition.

Declaration

Serpentine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
