Description

This charming little portrait shows a child with a little bird in a cage. Dressed in blue and white, she's wearing a delightful turban style cap.

Watercolour on card, indistinctly signed - possibly by a French artist. When viewed under a glass there are small spots of paint splashing around the cage but these are not really noticeable to the naked eye. Otherwise in very good condition and presented in a circular ebonised frame with an inner brass border and convex glass.
